About the event
Planet Explorers: A Grounded VR Earth Science Lab is a 3-hour summer STEM workshop for kids aged 10 - 13. Students will explore rocks, crystals, volcanoes, earthquakes, and the hidden forces that shape our planet using virtual reality, hands-on science challenges, and guided discovery.
Led by Nahgeib Miller, M.Phil., P.Geo., EP, a former Earth Sciences professor and licensed Professional Geoscientist, this small-group workshop helps students build curiosity, confidence, and scientific thinking in a safe, engaging environment.
This is not passive screen time. It is active, guided STEM learning using cool technology.
Students will:
Use VR to explore a virtual geology lab
Investigate rocks, minerals, and crystals
