Virtua Certificate Policy

Virtua Immersive Learning Solutions

1. Purpose of Certificate Issuance

Virtua issues certificates to recognize participant completion of seminars, workshops, immersive VR/XR learning experiences, and professional development programs. Certificates demonstrate that the participant has:

  • engaged with program content,

  • met defined learning outcomes,

  • demonstrated required competencies,

  • and completed all mandatory components of the experience.

Certificates are intended for academic, professional, or personal documentation and may be shared with schools, employers, or accreditation bodies as appropriate.

2. Certificate Types

Virtua may issue the following certificate types:

  • Certificate of Completion – for participants who complete all required learning activities.

  • Certificate of Participation – for events where attendance, not assessment, is the primary requirement.

  • Certificate of Excellence – when outstanding performance or engagement is demonstrated.

  • Instructor or Facilitator Certificate – for partners who support delivery of Virtua programs.

Each certificate type is clearly labeled to avoid confusion or misrepresentation.

3. Verification and Authenticity

Every certificate issued by Virtua includes a QR code that verifies authenticity through landing on the Virtua Certificate Verification page.

Verification confirms:

  • participant name,

  • program completed,

  • date of completion,

  • certificate type and status.

Unauthorized alterations or fraudulent reproduction of a certificate is prohibited.

4. Eligibility Requirements

Participants must meet all program requirements to receive a certificate. These may include:

  • completing VR/XR simulations or lab activities,

  • attending required sessions,

  • submitting assessments or reflections,

  • demonstrating competency based on program standards.

Instructors and facilitators reserve the right to determine whether requirements have been met.

5. Re-Issuing Certificates

Virtua will re-issue a certificate under the following conditions:

  • the original document was lost or damaged,

  • a spelling error or administrative correction is needed,

  • verification requires an updated version.

Re-issued certificates will include the same Certificate QR code unless fraud is suspected. A processing fee may apply for repeated requests.

6. Limitations and Use

Virtua certificates:

  • do not replace formal academic credit,

  • do not guarantee employment or admission,

  • may be used as evidence of professional development or skill training where recognized.

Participants are responsible for confirming whether certificates meet the requirements of an employer, school, regulatory body, or professional association.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Participant data collected for certificate issuance and verification is used solely for this purpose. Virtua does not sell, share, or distribute personal information outside of verification requests or legal obligations. All records are stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel.

8. Policy Updates
